How does the Olucia Connect System work?
The Olucia Connect System consists of three basic steps. This allows you to easily create your own lighting plan, indoors or outdoors.
1. Start with a plug or cable
Always start with the power source. Depending on your situation, choose a plug or a cable with a junction box.
Indoors: use, for example, an EU plug with a cable for direct connection to the socket.
Outdoors: choose a waterproof IP68 junction box for safe installation in all weather conditions.
2. Use a splitter to connect multiple lights
With Olucia Connect splitters, you can effortlessly connect multiple lights to a single power point. Available in 2-, 3-, 5-, or 8-way versions, so you always have the right number of connections. You can also combine splitters, for example, a 5-way and a 2-way, to create exactly the number of lights you need.
3. Connect your light
Connect the splitter to the light via a socket or junction box:
Indoor lighting: for example, a GU10 or GU5.3 socket for LED spotlights, or an IP20 junction box for LED modules.
Outdoor lighting: waterproof IP68 junction boxes or cables for fixtures with a terminal block.
Optional: Extra length with extension cables. Need more distance? With extension cables (from 1 to 25 meters), you can place lights exactly where you want them, hassle-free.
Practical examples
Indoor example
5 recessed spotlights. Start with a plug on a 2-way splitter. Connect the first spotlight directly, and connect the second output via an extension cable to an additional splitter for the remaining spotlights.
Outdoor example
5 ground spotlights. Start with a waterproof power strip or cable, connect a ground spotlight via the junction box, and connect the rest with extension cables and splitters so the spotlights can be distributed throughout the garden.
